Oregon: Shore Acres State Park

 Crossed the border to Oregon! (7/12/17)
 Cape Blanco Lighthouse- Ken was able to take a nice tour of the lighthouse- all the way up to the light!  I enjoyed a lovely chat with Cheryl the lighthouse volunteer- on ground level.  (7/13/17)
 The coast of Oregon is amazing!  More state parks all the way up route 101 than anywhere else in the country and coastal views most of the way! And all the beaches are open to the public, and not crowded.
 Shore Acres State Park was totally worth the $5. day use fee- there were English and Japanese gardens, and a trail along the coastal bluffs that led here where we could explore these amazing rock formations! (7/15/17)


 Simpson Reef:  with views of the sea lions offshore on their own private beach, and we could hear them barking!
