Leclaire, Iowa- on the Mississippi: 6/8/17

Toured the Buffalo Bill/ Lonestar Museum





 Our Buffalo Bill Museum Host had a parking spot about 15 feet from the Mississippi River- with an electric hook-up and a dock!  Best view yet!

 Ken went to talk to a couple of kayakers coming in on the dock to see how the current was.  They offered to take us and our kayaks 5 miles upriver to the town of Princeton where they dropped us off and we were able to float down the Mississippi River for a couple hours!  Super nice people in Iowa.
 The only river traffic we came across was this humungous barge coming upriver!

We were loving this!  Made it back to our camper just before sunset.
