This was the first day that the Tioga Pass into Yosemite was open due to the amount of snow and flooding. We would have missed the park if they did not open it today- and this was the most beautiful park so far!
Marmots hanging out in the park.
Several feet of snow still on the side of the road they had to cut through to open the road.
Crazy rock climbers on the cliff!!
Elk!
Half Dome.
The rivers and waterfalls were just amazing with all the snow melt!!
Ken making friends.
Thank you to Kelly and Brian (& The Lick Monster) for being so welcoming to us- we had a great time with you guys!
Drove by a fire in Mariposa as a fire fighting plane was flying over. We were so close that they closed the road a few minutes after we drove by.
