Jeckyl Island, Georgia: 12/23/23

One of the highlights of our trip was visiting this island.

This was one of our favorite bike rides- all around this island: ancient oak trees, historical buildings, beaches, driftwood, marshland, deer and the Holly Jolly Jeckyl Light show at dusk. 

Wonderful place to visit!

Trolley Stop RV Park: 12/15/23

Trolley Turner Lathe demo- Boris was a hoot! 

I made a husband beater (I mean a mallet.)

The next morning we saw Boris out building his office - so we went out to help. It comes in a tongue & groove kit from Astoria and you put it together like Lincoln Logs- no nails. (See above for completed structures of their workshop and showroom.) 

We spent the morning helping them, and they were so appreciative- they took us out for a wonderful lunch- southern cookin at Mama Nell's Kitchen- yum!
