Mesa Verde National Park: Colorado- June 22
We saw a brown bear and her 2 cubs!
Far View Sites- ancestral pueblo homes from AD 900-1300.
Cliff Palace. Amazing to me that they actually lived way up in these cliffs!
Here I am- petrified- that I had to climb down over this cliff to get to Cliff Palace, and climb back out! If you are afraid of heights like I am, this is not the place to come! I almost bailed out of the tour when I saw the cliff, but Ken was so awesome and held my hand the whole time!
I am relieved that I made it! But looking forward to getting off these cliffs!
Ken drove 23 miles of cliff roads to get there! And 23 miles back! Unfortunately I could not help drive since I had to close my eyes for a lot of it!
